"TINO" was born 24.02.1995 in one of the German kennels "vom Ohmtalteufel", owned by Beate & Udo Alexander. We loved the shelties from the first sighn when we sow them on the picture. At that time we had not in Ukraine experienced breeders in shelties, there are only some exemplars of this breed in our country, from which we could not choose realy nice sheltie. That is why we ask for the help the adroading breeders, a real ases in this sfeare. After studying all possible literature, we had in our mind our dreaming sheltie and seriously begin to think about our own one. We decided it must be a dog, tricolor dog! We choose outstanding"vom Stormarner Land" in Germany which is breed shelties since 1973. Erika Heintz, it's owner, a very nice person, agreed to help us. She advice us two very promising litters in "vom Ohmtalteufel" kennel - DjCh Janike vom Stormarner Land and Black Hair Lady of Golden Sunshine (Tery vom Locarnesse x Black Beauty vom Rodgauer See) was mated in Sweeden. Knowing that we want tricolor dog for showing and breeding, Beate looking exactly for such puppy. And... The best puppy - tricolor dog - was choosen from Lady's litter, the father of the puppy - well known Ch Shelgate Lucky Devil, who was 11 years old at the moment of the mating, promised the puppy must be super! Very nice puppy - bitch from this litter Vicky Black Angel vom Ohmtalteufelwas kept in the kennel. Now we had the problems with the custom papers for treveling to Germany. Unfortunately we could not open the visa and the dream to have a real sheltie was unbelivable... We were very sad... But, Beate and Erika was so kind, that agreed to come to Ukraine by herselfs and to bring us the puppy! In june 1995 we met our german friends in Ukraine and from that moment in our house live our first sheltie - our lovely "TINO".
"TINO" was a very splendid puppy, he was almost 4 month old when coming. We fell in love to "TINO" from the first sighn, his special character is the same till this time - loud, clever, gentle, knowing his price, ready to fight your attention by any ways, proud and at the same time ... In one word - a real sheltie! At first we think that all sheltie breed had the same temperament, but when realized that this is not so.
"TINO" developed very quickly, the same as his outstanding grandsire Ch Deloraine Dog Star. "TINO" looks very much like him - and not only by general appiarence, also by temprement. "TINO" borned after 20 years of him! In 8 month old "ÒINÎ" looks like adult sheltie and won Best in Show at his first dogshow, it was Collie&Sheltie Show in Dnepropetrovsk, November 1995. His show carier is very successful. He is the first sheltie who collect 4 x CACs for Ukrainian FCI Champion tittle, he is only one who became the ÂÎÂ-winner at the greatest CACIB-shows in Ukraine twice, he became TOP sheltie in Ukraine 1996-2000. Now he is 3 x UA Ch, Russ Ch, he had 15 CACs of Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, Germany and Danemark. And his biggest victory - BEST IN SHOW at the greatest sheltie show in Europe - SHELTIE SHOW in GERMANY 1997 among 136 shelties from 10 countries, judged by Mr Guy Jeavons (Grandgables kennel) and Miss Sandra Taylor (Pepperhill shelties, GB).

Now TINO take part at shows in veteran class and have numerous "Best veteran in Show" all breeds. All judges note in their discriptions very nice condition, excellent qualities and also "showing in a very joyful mood!!!".


In 2005 we celebrated Tino - 10 years old, but he is still full of life and energy,
and very happy to invite ladies !!!!!
